A couple of weeks ago I set a S.M.A.R.T. goal to drink more water. I work out in the morning, most of the time either outside (usually 75+ degrees and humid) or in the YMCA gym that has no air (80+ degrees and steamy). By mid-afternoon I feel like I’m dying on the vine which is probably due to partial dehydration.
I found a nifty Smartphone app that reminds me to drink water and tracks how much I drink daily. Though it is borderline annoying because it makes the sound of water being poured into a glass every hour, it has helped me stay on track and more than that has made me realize I was right. I really don’t drink enough. Chikpin is the app I’m using but there are others that work just as well.
